Travellers with an interest in the arts will wish to know that the three greatest artist of the moment are Karkordo [a composer famed for his logarithmic symphony and his astounding string quartet on the parallelogram of forces], the poet Dadalabra and the painter and sculptor Patzoka. The latter’s most famous work is a painting, which combines spheroid-cubism with the cylindrical prismatic tendency. This painting, now housed in the Helikonda museum, consists solely of hosiery buttons fixed to the canvas with great skill; seen from the correct angle it shows an ideal landscape. The artist himself regards this masterpiece as already outdated.
