Unlocking the City
“within the given settings and the particular context of a series of selected, existing sites and public organizations we are currently developing a set of projects that are shaped through direct work and research with young people and in the context of their environments. – Each project is developed to form a kind of catalyst investigating and/or generating youngster’s interest.
“Inviting young people to participate in the research and development of our design ideas, we hope to incorporate their voices in a way that goes beyond traditional means of consultation.
“Our aim is to add something to their environments that will give them a sense of control over their actions within the city. Unlocking the City together with them, there will be something they can take away with them and something they leave behind. In this way, the projects are working on both, a sense of ownership and interaction with the City.”
